SRP provides functionality to display to the user an estimated time of arrival for your service technician. To activate this feature you must have SRP Admin security level (UserRole 3). Select File->Configure and then select the Times tab. Check the box "Show Estimated Time Range" and then set the "Minutes Before" and "Minutes After" as appropriate for your sites capabilities.
For example if you set both values to 30 a task that is schedule to start at 9:30AM would show an estimated time range of 9:00 to 10:00.
The estimated time range shows up in the Task Detail screen and on the technicians manifest. To have the estimated time show up on the scheduling calendar go to File->Properties and select the check box "Display the estimated time frame in the schedule" on the UI Config tab.
This convenience feature allows you to give consistent scheduling information to your customers. |
